Some idiot programmer evidently does not use the service. I've done as suggested and downloaded the software update to a thumbdrive. Netflix does not get past the software upgrade red screen. You will need a USB stick like this: Please ensure that the memory stick is correctly formatted as 'FAT32' on Windows, or 'MS-DOS (FAT)' on Mac. Your 'KALED473DSMTZA' has a firmware update available below. Please right click on the file link and select 'Save link as...' or 'Save target as...' Copy the '.bin' file directly to the empty USB stick, ensuring not to place it inside a folder.
It should appear as below: Insert the USB into the port labelled 'USB1' on your TV.
Turn the TV off using the master power switch (on the right hand side of the TV if you are facing the screen).
While the TV is turned off, repeatedly press the 'VOL +' button on the remote and turn the TV back on using the master power switch.
Continue pressing the 'Vol +' button on the remote until a blue screen appears and the firmware begins installing.
The initial blue screen will say 'Search USB Storage' and then be followed by 'Upgrade Software Do Not Turn Off'. Once this is completed, the TV will power itself off and on again.
If you encounter any issues after the firmware update has been completed, please try performing a factory reset and then attempt to use the TV again.

It is a pain in the ass to log in each time on a TV remote. The tv reads that it's there, but when it goes to "upgrade" it goes to 3% and then stops.
Internet connection is working even if I change DNS to 184.108.40.206 or 220.127.116.11.
