A portion of all funds raised remain within Simcoe Region to help local Muscular Dystrophy Canada members with funding for assistive devices, such as the purchase of wheelchairs and their batteries, leg braces, orthotics and more.
Donations will also be used to support Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s programs in the areas of research, information, education, advocacy and support.
Team Muscle Movers has been awarded the Top Fundraising Team award by the Festival on numerous occasions, and in 2013 received the Charity Challenge Cup which is awarded to the team raising funds for a registered charity with the best race time of the day!
